Two photographs from Peter Hall's collection may be of interest to members.
They depict the old pavilion, destroyed by fire in 1966 plus images of deck chairs around the ground and spectators in flat caps. From intelligence I have gathered, I think they were taken in 1965.
It is likely only members in their mid 60s or over would remember such scenes.
