Today I bumped into Graeme Stockton, who was in my class at Chingford C of E Primary School and played for Chingford between 1976 and 1990. For a number of years Graeme was the Club's 1st xi wicket keeper.
Graeme, who now lives west of London, is pictured with his Mother and furry friend. They were visiting Graeme's father's memorial bench near Fisher's Green. It appears Graeme inherited his love of fishing from his father who spent many happy hours fishing the many waters in the Lea Valley.
Graeme has threatened to return to the Club with his old pal Malcolm Swinfen for this year's Cricket Week. They will be most welcome at Forest Side !
