We have received the sad news of the passing of Howard Southgate.
Only our older members would have known Howard who was a more than useful wicket keeper and played for the Club between 1968 and 1972 together with one or two occasional appearances thereafter.
Howard's brother Derek also played for Chingford and in more recent times they could be found at Hutton CC.
Details of the funeral will be posted here when known.
