An Unavailable 2nd XI

Following a mid August 2006 Selection Committee meeting, in which, as usual, the player availability was hit by the holiday season, someone asked Rob what had happened to all the 2nd team players. Rob then sat down and made a list of all those players who had played 2nd team cricket already this season but were unavailable for various reasons. The names make up quite a useful team in themselves and it was the view of the selection committee that it could beat the 2nd XI that was picked that week. So here it is, with reasons for unavailability in brackets;

A Forest Side XI

As I played my first game for Chingford in 1968 Graem asked me to compile the best balanced team of any players who I have actually seen play at Forest Side. Not an easy task and I'm sure many will disagree. Please bare in mind that I've spent many days plying my trade in the lower XI's and never saw the likes of; Nasser, Foster, Malone, the Ponts, Merve Hughes and the Waugh twins etc.
