Match report The first game of the new season, under the new leadership of Bill Burke, didn't go as well as we had hoped. The lack of match practice showed as the 5th's batting failed on a track that had inconsistent bounce.
The new Captain showed some innovation by opening the bowling with the spin of Andy Baker and it had some success. However, despite the inspirational captaincy, the 5th's could not defend such a low total (the 5th's lowest league score).
As they say...things can only get better!
