South Woodford v Chingford Cricket Club Sat 5th on Sat 12 Jun 2010 at 1:00
Chingford Cricket Club Lost 99 runs

Match report A weakened 5th team made the short trip to South Woodford with the hopes of continuing their winning run. Blakey’s return to bowling for the 5th’s and Kash’s familiar tight bowling, restricted the South Woodford openers early on. The opening pair were backed up well by William Evans who kept it tight with some lovely left arm spin. The thoughts of a low target were dashed as South Woodford realised the urgency and accelerated, finally reaching a challenging total.
A reasonable start by the 5th’s openers almost saw off the opening bowlers but 4 quick wickets soon put Chingford on the backfoot and in a worrying position. Despite some determined batting from the 5th’s they could not hold out for the draw.
