Chingford Cricket Club Sat 4th v Upminster 6th on Sat 16 Jul 2005 at 1330
Chingford Cricket Club Won 148 runs

Match report On a hot day Chingford were grateful to be asked to bat first by Upminster. Roy of the Rivers was in good nick, smashing a fine 56 on his favourite ground whilst fellow opener Kim Barnett with 22 laid the foundations for a big total. A collapse set in but Paul Hart (26) and Tom Patmore (19) repaired things and Ant Peek (24) and Mike Blake (12no) saw Chingford through to 200-8

After a hearty tea, Mike Blake destroyed the Upminster reply with a 4 over spell of 5-8 to leave them just 19 for 5. Showing no mercy Campbers turned to the Bullet , who had spent all afternoon avoiding the autograph hunters. The Bullet finished off the job with a quick 2-1 and with Adam Campbell (2-19) and Tom Patmore (1-18) also amongst the wickets, Upminster were dismissed for 52.
