Chingford Cricket Club Indoor Sat A v Loughton on Sat 20 Nov 2004 at
Chingford Cricket Club Won 24 runs

Match report The A Team secured their fourth successive victory of the seaso, over Loughton last Saturday to go top of the table. Batting first, Meade was out early but Alston (in for the absent Hales) got Chingford off to a useful start with 21. Shawyer with 20 kept the scoring going but when he was out, Chingford had lost 3 wickets without having a batsman retire. James Hill (in for the absent McMurray) batting at No 4 changed that scoring his runs quickly. However, no soon had he retired then he had to come back out to bat as Marriott went cheaply. Hill's continued innings did not last long and it was left to MacGregor to use up the remaining overs to ensure Chingford reached a respectable 120. Unfortunately MacGregor was run out and Chingford ended up with a disappointing 101-6.
Meade and Marriott opened the bowling and both took a wicket in their first over. With runs being hard to come by, particularly off Marriott, Loughton already looked out of the contest. 2 wickets to Macgregor ensured they never got close to Chingford's total, being bowled out for 77.
