Chingford Cricket Club Indoor Sat A v Wanstead A on Sat 05 Mar 2005 at
Chingford Cricket Club Won 6 wickets

Match report Chingford were unchanged to meet a Wanstead side that looked less than full strength. Marriott and Shawyer got on top of the batters early on but it was the introduction of McMurray to the middle order that brought the Wanstead innings to a swift close. MacGregor, in the mood to experiment, tried an over of Hill which was far from the best bowled by Chingford.
MacGregor, still in the mood to experiment, dropped Hill to No4 and pushed Peters up to open. Peters struggled in his natural B team batting position. This did not matter as McMurray was in one of those moods and reached retirement in no time. Shawyer batted in similar vein and despite the plodding Peters, the match was over in quick time.
