Chingford Cricket Club Indoor Sat A v Fives & Heronians on Sat 12 Mar 2005 at
Chingford Cricket Club Won 3 wickets

Match report Meade came in for the absent Marriottfor the last game of the season. Chingford matches seem to follow a certain pattern of late, whereby Marriott and Shawyer put a stranglehold on the top order and McMurray comes on and cleans up the middle order. As so today and but for a stubborn performance from one of their top order who survived, Chingford would not have had much of a total to chase.
MacGregor reverted to his batting order of earlier in the season. When Shawyer fell short of his 25 and MacGregor fell soon after, Chingford were far from home and dry. McMurray however was not hanging about and put on a partnership with Peters of 30 to steer Chingford home.
This win took Chingford to the top of the table. With the other top two sides, Walthamstow A and Newham B due to meet the following week, Chingford could still win the title if the other teams tied. They didn't.
