Chingford Cricket Club Indoor Sun Eve v Epping Foresters on Sun 20 Nov 2005 at 17:00
Chingford Cricket Club Lost 65 runs

Match report Another disappointing performance saw Chingford slump to their second successive defeat in the Premiership.

Although Steve Thorne picked up an early wicket, courtesy of a one handed catch by Nick Thorpe, some fierce striking of the ball by Epping Foresters put them firmly in control. Further wickets went in the last over to a run out and then a catch down the leg side by "Lacey" Tarrant - but chasing a total of 122-3 was always going to be a tall order.

The opening attack was quick and accurate and after 3 overs we were 3 for 1. With virtually no chance of winning, Chingford consolidated to reach 57-3 at stumps, Peter Joslin top scoring with 25no.

An improvement will be needed for the next match, although there's still the January transfer window...............
