Chingford Cricket Club Indoor Sun Eve v High Beach on Sun 04 Dec 2005 at 17:00
Chingford Cricket Club Lost 68 runs

Match report Sunday's Premiership clash with High Beach was a carbon copy of the previous match two weeks ago.

HBCC took first knock and were soon going well with our old chum Mick Bear retiring on 25 in the 4th over. Mike Blake bowled the other opener with his first delivery to put Chingford back in it but some good running coupled with one or two missed run outs saw Beach reach a commanding position.Billy Rhone picked up a late wicket and then in the last over Pete Tarrant denied Mike Blake his second wicket by taking so long to stump the batsman that they crossed !

Chasing a target of 127-3 Chingford lost Joslin run out for 3. Although Rhoneoceros hit 19 before he was bowled trying to cut one off middle stump, 3 quick run outs followed to leave Chingford 29-5. all that was left for Tarrant to provide an exhibition of amassing as many as he could without running. He got to 32 which in normal circumstances would have been a great knock, but it was all to little too late as Chingford were dismissed for 59, and remain bottom of the Premiership
