Match report Chingford were asked to bat first in Sunday's big Premiership clash with Tennyson.

Chingford made a good start with Greg Hales (17) and Pete Joslin (9) putting on 29 inside 3 overs but Gregt, sent back on a run was out to a direct hit and the Joslin was bowled off the next delivery that turned square. Tarrant set about a recovery with 10before he was caught and with Thorpe out for a duck, last pair Rhone and Blake were left to gather momentum to push the score towards respectability.Rhone was unfortunate to be caught for 16 off a pipe on the ceiling that fell comfortably to a fielder just as he was getting going and it was left to last man Blake to top score with 19 to get Chingford to 79 all out in the last over.

A good piece of work by Rhoneoceros saw a run out occur in the first over of the Tennyson reply. After this they reached their target without further alarm, although Greg Hales bowled his 3 overs for just 12 runs.
