Chingford Cricket Club Indoor Sat D v South Loughton B on Sat 15 Oct 2005 at 8.40
Chingford Cricket Club Won 4 wickets

Match report A very convincing win for the D VI. After lossing the toss and being asked to field first, Chingford bowled out South Loughton B VI for 54 off 9.3 overs with 3 run out, with Shakeel Kadri claiming two of them and Peter Shawyer the other. Alfie Taylor opened the bowling and bowled right through, finishing with very respectable fihures of 1 for 11 off his 3 overs. Once Alfie Taylor had finished Shakeel Kadri claimed 2 wickets off 9 balls, including a fine catch behind the stumps by Richard Alston and bowling their top scorer with a periling out swinger that pitched way outside leg stump and took middle and off. Things did not get off to a good start with Peter Shawyer returning a simple catch to bowl in the 2nd over for 1 and a confusion between Myles Joyce and Shakeel Kadri, which lead to the latter being run out for 7. Myles Joyce and Richard Alston finished it off, with some good running between the wickets and not even hitting the back wall once, leading us to victory with over 3 overs to go.
