Match report Shawyer's Sharks completed a demolition job on MacGregor's Muppets in the first match of the Chingford Indoor Tournament. Meade and Paul Shawyer got off to an excellent start and Meade was the first to retire. Ross was playing his annual game of indoor cricket and excelled with the bat, reaching his own 25 with a minimum of running. Batting is easier when the platform is this good and the rest of the order chipped in to help post a record indoor score.
Nick Shawyer's bowling immediatly put on the pressure and three run outs resulted, leaving the Muppets in dissaray. With the contest effectively over, Jabbari nipped in with 2 wickets and Ross ended proceedings by taking the catch off his second delivery.
Ross then spent the rest of the tournament at home in front of the TV watching Leyton Orient soccer team. His team mates, supplimented by Anthony Peek went on to play in the final against O'Sullivan's Outlaws.
