Match report Chingford won the toss and decided to field first. Although Beehive put on 28 for the first wicket the run rate never got away from Chingford. Generally tight bowling restricted Beehive to 58 off their 12 overs with Andrew MacGregor the pick of the bowlers taking 3 for 6 off 3 overs. The side fielded well with Andrew Kelly taking a catch and achieving a direct hit run out. Alfie Leachman also provided an excellent throw to the top of the stumps to let Ben Gordon complete a simple run-out off the last ball of the Beehive innings.

In reply Chingford got off to a good start in the first over but were then pegged back with the dismissals of Daniel Lawrence and Ben Gordon. When Andrew MacGregor was caught to make the score 22 for 3 Beehive were on top. However the lower order batted with great resilience and some flair with Alfie Leachman leading the way with some good hits to make 15, well supported by Tom Goodland. However when these two were out in quick succession to further good catches by the opposition, last man Andrew Kelly was left to score 12 runs off the last two overs. He kept his nerve, slowly edging his side towards victory by ensuring that he regularly hit the side walls. After then hitting a straight four, two were needed to win off the last ball. Andrew hit the ball against the side wall and competed the run to score three thus ensuring that Chingford ran out winners.

Well done to the side for a great team performance with everyone contributing.
