Chingford Cricket Club Sat 4th v Horndon on the Hill on Sat 02 Sep 2006 at 12.30
Chingford Cricket Club Won 10 wickets

Match report In the second last league game of the season we lost the toss and were put in the field. The first wicket fell in the 4th over after an edge from one of the openers who walked straight away thus saving the umpire a hard decision which was nice to see. After that wickets fell at regular intervals due to good bowling and fielding from chingford. Tommy Hayden and Dan Milligan got chingford off to a flier, icluding tommy hitting the first boundary of the game. Tommy scored especially qiuckly reaching 28 off about 20 balls including winning us the game in the 5th of over with a 2 then a 4 then a 6 then another 4. All in all a very good display by chingford against a team who werent as bad as the scores would suggest. The game was finished by quarter to 3 which gave us enough time to see the first team go up as champions and England thrash the footballing giants that are Andorra
