Tring Park v Chingford Cricket Club Sun B on Sun 09 Jul 2006 at 1:30
Chingford Cricket Club Won 7 wickets

Match report Because Tring Park had a home tie in the Evening Standard, we found ourselves playing on their second pitch against in effect, their Sunday C team. The new ball pair of Blake and Rashid made early inroads and Tring never looked like posting a challenging total. Things seemed to be going Chingford's way, catches were all held (even Joyce took one with the gloves) and some wayward off-spinners from Truptesh Patel were still good enough for him to grab 4 wickets.
The pitch was a bit slow and the outfield was not the quickest but all three Chingford players who got out will have been annoyed at doing so. Their skipper was bowling a tidy spell of off spin but the arrival of 15 year old Tom Hayden ruined his figures. Hayden scored 24 off just 16 balls to end the game with a flourish. This win puts Chingford up with the league leaders.
