Match report Hopes were not high with the absence of key players Macgregor and Harborne through injury. They were replaced by Tom Hayden and Will Thorne (who didn't turn up) so we cobbled some kit together and wheeled out John Coulson, thanks again John.
Skipper Hart lost another toss and WG elected to bat. All of our bowlers were accurate but were let down by poor fielding. They managed to amass a challenging 94 for 3 with only Hart and Hayden getting a wicket each.
In reply things started badly when Alston holed out early for 4, the first time he has failed this season. Coulson R and Hayden then put together an excellent partnership both retiring. Peek did his bit with a quick 4. Enter Coulson J who, with the captains advice "dont hang around" ringing in his ears played the shot of the day, a KP like smash over mid off, he was next out for 4 as well. This left Hart and Coulson R to see us home with 5 balls to spare.
