Match report And so to the second match of the St Aubyn’s indoor league against old rivals Wanstead.

Chingford batted first again under the captaincy of Ben Gordon. The unfortunate dismissal of Daniel Lawrence at the commencement of the innings was offset by a fine batting performance by Tom Goodland who top scored with 32. He was well supported by Ben Gordon (10), William Evans (8) and Harry Holdsworth (7). At the end of the Chingford innings they had achieved 70 for 5.

Wanstead started their innings confidently and the Chingford bowlers found it difficult to dislodge them, with Ben Gordon (2.4-1-8-0) and William Evans (2-0-5-0) returning the best figures. Wanstead ran out winners reaching the Chingford total in the last over.
