Match report The last match of the league season saw Chingford take on Beehive in a bottom of the table clash.

Beehive batted first and Chingford were soon amongst the wickets as Tom Bigley took a wicket in the first over. However a spirited response by Beehive, helped by some indifferent Chingford bowling, saw Beehive take the score onto 38 before Dan Lawrence took the first of his two wickets. Further Beehive wickets fell to Tom Goodland and Harry Holdsworth and Beehive were reduced to 52-5 after eight overs. However Beehive had a sting in their tail as their last man scored 22 not out taking their total to 76-5 at the close.

The Chingford innings started badly as three wickets fell four overs reducing the score to 9-3. The ship was steadied as Tom Goodland played a responsible innings which finally totalled 17 and he was upported by Andrew Kelly who scored 9. The damage however had been done in the early part of the innings and Chingford could not recover sufficiently to threaten the Beehive total.

The season now moves onto the cup matches and with Buckhurst Hill failing to raise a team for the first round Chiungford go straight into the semi-finals with a return match against Beehive on the 21st April with the final on the 28th April.
