Match report As is customary, the skipper lost the toss, but was relieved to be asked to bowl. The pitch was green with a noticeable dip near the middle.

Woodford reached a reasonable score of 188, but should have realistically been restricted to 30 less, as Chingford's fielding lacked determination.
Their innings was pinned together by a particularly good half-century from their number 3. Richard Offord bowled well, but appeared to have had some mid-week coaching from AP, as luck deserted him once again! Lady Luck certainly wasn't with Graem, as he spent most of the afternoon in Whipps Cross, having a dislocated finger re-aligned. Hope you're back soon GP!
Chippy and Queenie picked up 3 a piece on a track that suited their bowling. Cookie didn't bowl as well as he can, but nevertheless picked up 4 wickets - a sign of a bowler in form.
Chingford responded in style. Myles hit an aggressive seventy, aided by a measured innings from Fletch, who also went onto his half - century (much to the irritation of his girlfriend, who politely enquired when he could finish, as they had a dinner date to attend). The remaining batsman were required to do very little else, as the opening partnership was bolstered by the opposition giving us 30 extras, and Chingford picked up a further 18 points.
