Match report Chingford needed to win to give themselves a chance of finishing second in the table. Newham B needed to win to give themselves a chance of avoiding relegation to division 2. Ben MacGregor skippered the side i the absence of Greg Hales. Apart from Greg, there was no Nasser Rashid, needed by the Cs, Shaun McMurray and James Hill. Victorious B team regulars Luke O'Reilly, Matt O'Sullivan and Mike Lyon each played their 3rd A team game of the season, getting some useful Peter May practice for next season. Another B team regular, Richard MacGregor turned out for the As for the first time in a number of seasons.
Chingford conceded the largest total against them for the season. Ben MacGregor's third over going for 21. Paul Shawyer's stumping was taken off the bowling of Luke O'Reilly.
