Preston v Chingford Cricket Club Sun B on Sun 17 Aug 2003 at
Chingford Cricket Club Won 138 runs

Match report With no Peter Joslin (or Stephen Thorne) available, Mike Blake was drafted as an emergency opening bat and managed to see off the new ball. Peters started well but continually lost the strike. Chingford then got bogged down and lost 3 quick wickets including Steve Hart, making one of his rare Sunday appearances. David Joslin and Peters picked up the tempo again but Joslin departed at the half way point of the innings. MacGregor came in and immediately went after the bowling hitting numerous sixes over mid wicket into the allotments. He overtook Peters score who after 40 overs at the crease was finally out. The fall of lower order wickets did not slow MacGregor at all and he completed his 100 and then some.
After their efforts with the bat, Peters and MacGregor were not going to have a chance to rest. MacGregor was called on to bowl and bowled a spell that settled the match enabling wickets to fall at the other end. Peters helped himself to 2 stumpings and a weakened B league side had comfortably won the match.
