Match report Chingford played host to Hornchurch on a wet, cold, blustery saturday afternoon at Forest Side. Captain Shaun Mcmurray won the toss and elected to have a bowl. Unfortunatly for Chingford this decision backfired as very few of Chingfords bowling attack managed to touch down due to the tough conditions, (Odedra 2-64 and Meade 2-30), allowing Hornchurch to post an imposing total of 258 from 48 overs with Flannigan (62), Murray (94) and Beazley (63) making the the main stay of the runs. Chingford, with less time then usual due to interuptions from the rain managed to post 175-4 in reply, Bryan Pietersen top scoring with 52 not out, ably supported by Meade (30), MacGregor (35) and Hill (23).
