Harlow v Chingford Cricket Club Sat 4th on Sat 09 May 2015 at 1:00
Chingford Cricket Club Lost 130 runs

Match report The first league fixture away to Harlow proved to be a disappointing one. Having won the toss, Chingford bowled and fielded well to restrict the Harlow run rate. However Harlow kept wickets in hand enabling a later assault which say them past the 200 mark. Colts Ross Simmons and Sam Marriott bowled well claiming one wicket apiece but bowling honours went to Howard Nicholson with a well earned 6-for.

Chingford in reply never were in the game with the top order swept away by the opening bowlers to be 18-5 at one stage. Only Mike Blake held firm before holing out on the boundary, attempting a repeat maximum. Again Simmons batted well ensuring the tail wagged before Chingford succumbed to an inevitable, heavy defeat. Certainly plenty for the batsmen to ponder before our next League game v Upminster
