Chingford Cricket Club Sat 4th v Upminster 5th on Sat 16 May 2015 at 1:00
Chingford Cricket Club Lost 5 Wickets

Match report Chingford won the toss and opted to bat. A lightning start from Jamil was stopped in its tracks by a ball which kept exceedingly low. The extreme slowness and lowness of the wicket was a factor but only a factor in Chingford's disappointing total, only Chris Knightley going on to a respectable score. In the end 145 and failure to bat out the 52 was a disappointment.
Chingford had their work cut out defending the total but the bowlers equipped themselves well especially veteran Carey Harborne but were let down by poor fielding with at least five catches dropped. In the end the Upminster skipper the main beneficiary of this generosity chalked up a half century which proved decisive as the visitors ran out 5 wicket winners with nine overs to spare.
