Chingford Cricket Club Sat 2nd v West Essex on Sat 25 Jun 2005 at 1330
Chingford Cricket Club Won 8 Wickets

Match report Chingford won the toss and put West Essex into bat. After an early strike by Mike Lyon, dropped catches allowed West Essex to put on c.60 for the second wicket before Andy Perrin and Jon Dyers reduced them to 68 for 5. This was followed by another useful partnership for the visitors which was broken by Richard MacGregor. The return of Andy Perrin and the introduction of Sanjay Sharma finished off the tail to leave West Essex all out for 164 off 48 overs.

In reply an opening stand of 111 in better than a run a minute between Paul Shawyer and Marc Fletcher set the foundation for the win. Once Paul Shawyer had been dismissed Billy Rhone blasted a rapid 32, all in boundaries, before falling just before the end. Yogi Flora then wrapped up the win with 20 overs to spare.
